Fall Colors

This year has been incredible for fall colors in the Eastern Sierra. The warm sunny days and cold nights of September hinted at potentially fantastic fall color, and October has not disappointed. Rally 2010!

I have just returned from the National Land Conservation Conference in Hartford, Connecticut. The conference was inspiring, rewarding, and eye-opening. As a bonus, I was able to experience the turning of the fall foliage on the East Coast, something everyone should experience at least once in their lives.     I was one of the youngest people in attendance at the conference, if not the youngest. Eastern Sierra Landscapes Art Show & Sale —...

Last week, ESLT and the Oak Group completed a successful month-long art show. The renowned Santa Barbara based painters for preservation created an amazing collection of art work portraying the diversity and beauty of our local landscapes. On the evening of the reception, hundreds of people visited the Faulkner Library and all agreed the art work was stunning! California Deer Association Awards Grant to ESLT
