Eastern Sierra Land Trust COVID-19 Notice

Dear ESLT family and friends,

We are grateful to be a part of a supportive, generous, and compassionate community. As our team continuously monitors updates about the spread of COVID-19 (new coronavirus) from the Center for Disease Control, the World Health Organization, the California Governor’s office, and national and local health authorities, we would like to assure you that our top priority is the health and safety of our staff, board of directors, members, and event attendees.

In following recommended protocols, Eastern Sierra Land Trust staff will be working remotely in the coming weeks. Our office will be closed to the public but we will still be working to protect your Eastern Sierra. We will reassess our office closure and operations as we receive more information, and we’ll post any updates to our website and social media.

You are welcome to reach out anytime via email at or . Our team will also check the ESLT office voicemail daily, so feel free to leave us a message at (760) 873-4554. Thank you for your patience, trust, and continued support as we all navigate this fluid situation.

We wish you the best of health in the coming weeks. While we encourage folks not to visit the Eastern Sierra (travel puts our small communities at risk), we hope you can find time to get outside or visit special places near your home. Nature is always here for us. It’s also in these moments when we are reminded of the importance of community, and our responsibility to support and take care of each other. If you are able, please reach out to your loved ones and neighbors to ask for or offer any help. Find health and safety resources here from the Center for Disease Control.

What are we working on?

We have some really special acres in our protection queue right now, and we are determined and prepared to keep working to secure these incredible places. With your support, we are keeping our conservation projects moving forward. It’s critical for our wildlife and for future generations, today and forever.

Protecting these permanent, peaceful places is more important now than ever. Your support can make a positive impact on the Eastern Sierra for generations to come. Will you join us as together, we continue to protect the land you love?

Invest In Forever

We’re also brainstorming fun ways to keep the conservation conversation going with fun online resources and gatherings for you and your little ones! Stay tuned, and thank you again for your continued support.

We’re so happy to have you by our side.

Yours truly, the Eastern Sierra Land Trust team
