Praying Mantis and Hummingbird in ESLT garden

Eastern Sierra Land Trust, Eastern Sierra Audubon Society (ESAS), Inyo & Mono Master Gardeners and Eastern Sierra Wildlife Care are proud to present the 2nd annual Wild at Home Gardening Workshop. Join us at the ESLT office at 176 Home St. in Bishop from 1-4pm on Sunday April 22nd to learn how native plants, garden features, and smart planning can make your yard a healthy habitat for birds, butterflies, and beneficial wildlife.

Each participant will receive a bound pamphlet including various educational materials about designing your backyard, various species you might attract, and contact information for the organizations. Please bring questions to ask our knowledgeable presenters. The schedule will include reasons to incorporate wildlife to your garden, wildlife safety issues, planning your garden, friendly plants for the Owens Valley and native plants for your garden. We will be having another Wild at Home Workshop for Mammoth and High Sierra gardeners later in the summer, but anyone is welcome to attend this seminar. Space is limited! Suggested donation of $10 for ESLT or ESAS members and $15 for non-members. To reserve your spot, contact Victoria at 760-873-4554 or .
