The festivities at ESLT’s 10th birthday party.

Familiar faces, new friends, a lively band, good food and great company—all the ingredients for a successful party! ESLT had just the right mix Saturday to celebrate 10 years of land preservation. The energy in the room was contagious. Lots of proud moments of what has been accomplished in the first 10 years of ESLT’s existence were shared. What started with the vision of a few passionate and resourceful founding board members, add in lots of supporters and volunteers from the community near and far plus 10 years and the results so far includes over 6,000 acres of beautiful Eastern Sierra lands preserved, 700+ members, and 100 active volunteers strong. All impressive numbers showing that the passion and vision of our founding board is shared wholeheartedly by many, many people living here, working here, and visiting here. Just imagine what the next 10 years will look like! Thanks to all who joined in the celebration, and all our board members, staff, members, volunteers and supporters who turn these ambitious visions into reality.
