Join our 11th Annual Great Sierra River Cleanup on Saturday, September 21st from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.! We’ll be meeting at ESLT’s office at 8:30 a.m., at 250 N Fowler Street in Bishop.

Eastern Sierra Land Trust, the Bishop Paiute Tribe Environmental Management Office, the Sierra Club and Tangle Free Waters is hosting this Great day in correlation with a statewide volunteer event focused on removing trash from and restoring the health of the Sierra Nevada waterways. Help us do our part to keep our Eastern Sierra Rivers clean!

Over the past ten years, more than 33,000 volunteers have organized to remove 847 tons of trash and recyclables from watersheds throughout the Sierra Nevada. You can join this impressive legacy.

Afterwards, volunteers can skip over to the Millpond Music Festival to celebrate. It begins at 12 p.m. on the same day.

To volunteer or for more information please contact Marie, ESLT’s Education Coordinator and AmeriCorps Member, at or 760-873-4554.
