What is a BioBlitz?
A BioBlitz is a community effort to find and document as many living species as possible in one place. During the BioBlitz at Blue Heron Farm, we will explore the orchard and wild corners of the farm, recording the plants, insects, birds, and other life we find. Using the iNaturalist app, your observations will become part of a global database used by scientists and conservations to track biodiversity. No experience needed. Just curiosity.
Bring your phone, sense of discovery and come see what is blooming and buzzing on the farm!
Free event and fantastic for kids!
Share this with family and friends!
Please check back soon for new opportunities to get out, explore, and get involved in our conservation efforts here in the Eastern Sierra.
