Want to enjoy amazing views of the Eastern Sierra while making a difference? Join ESLT from 12-2 pm on Saturday, March 19 to remove trash from Highway 395! You will be helping our community keep litter away from wildlife and out of sensitive ecosystems, all while enjoying the gorgeous scenery.

ESLT sponsors a beautiful section of the 395 as part of California’s Adopt-a-Highway Program. This Highway Cleanup will be held outside with a very limited number of people. There will not be access to restrooms during the cleanup. We recommend that volunteers wear long pants, bring water bottles, and dress for the weather. Please RSVP to Claire at to reserve a spot and get more information.

Want to volunteer, but can’t make it on Saturday? Our friends at INYO350 and 350 Mono are cleaning up their adjacent stretch of Highway 395 the next day. You can join them at 10 am on Sunday, March 20– just RSVP to Marty Hornick at or 760-920-0248.

Please check back soon for new opportunities to get out, explore, and get involved in our conservation efforts here in the Eastern Sierra.
