Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup

We’re hosting a highway cleanup on Friday, June 6 from 8:00–10:30 AM to remove trash from Eastern Sierra Land Trust’s adopted section of Highway 395. Your help will make a big difference in keeping litter away from wildlife and protecting our region’s sensitive ecosystems.

We’ll meet at the ESLT office (250 N Fowler Street) at 8:00 AM and caravan together to the cleanup site. To avoid the heat, we’ll get started early. Please wear long pants to protect against thistle, bring a water bottle, and use sun protection. We also recommend bringing a backpack to carry your essentials, as we’ll be walking up to a mile along the highway.

ESLT will provide trash bags, grabbers, leather gloves, bright vests, and hard hats—just bring your energy and a readiness to make a positive impact!
