Celebrate 20,000 Acres Protected in 20 Years
2021 marks the 20th Anniversary for Eastern Sierra Land Trust, and you’re invited to help us celebrate the permanent protection of over 20,000 acres of natural and working lands!

While our in-person event has been cancelled for 2021, we want to gather online to celebrate our Eastern Sierra together. We have missed seeing your faces and feeling the joy that we all share working together to protect these special places. Please join us online to celebrate with Auctioneer Jeremy Goico at our fun Paddle Raise.

Joining us is special guest, Beth Pratt, California Regional Executive Director of the National Wildlife Federation! She is a wildlife advocate, author and conservation leader, and she loves the East Side. Beth is leading the effort to build the largest wildlife crossing in the world at Liberty Canyon, through the #savelacougars campaign, and – she’s part of the team working on the Mammoth Lakes 395 wildlife crossing here on the East Side!

We are also announcing a very generous matching gift during the Paddle Raise of $20,000 from Elizabeth Tenney to honor the memory of her late husband and Eastern Sierra protector, Jim Tenney. Elizabeth also wants to honor the accomplishment of protecting 20,000 acres, so she’s offering a match for gifts made during the live Paddle Raise on September 21st up to $20,000! Let’s take her up on this generous offer and DOUBLE YOUR DONATION while saving more land in the Eastern Sierra! Read more about Jim and his remarkable legacy here.

Unable to join us online on September 21st? You can still save the land you love by giving to ESLT’s Lands & Legacy Paddle Raise on our website, by mail, or by calling (760) 873-4554.
