Fall Colors

This year has been incredible for fall colors in the Eastern Sierra. The warm sunny days and cold nights of September hinted at potentially fantastic fall color, and October has not disappointed. Eastern Sierra Landscapes Art Show & Sale —...

Last week, ESLT and the Oak Group completed a successful month-long art show. The renowned Santa Barbara based painters for preservation created an amazing collection of art work portraying the diversity and beauty of our local landscapes. California Deer Association Awards Grant to ESLT

Eastern Sierra Land Trust (ESLT) announced that it has received a $15,000 grant from the California Deer Association. The funds will support ESLT's work with willing landowners in the community of Swall Meadows in preserving important deer habitat. Press Release [PDF]

Today's Los Angeles Times article about the beautiful and important Lubken Ranch in the Alabama Hills above Lone Pine is generating a lot of concerns about its future.
