Do you love the Eastern Sierra? Are you looking for a way to give back to our land and community? Apply today to become ESLT’s next AmeriCorps Member!

We are seeking an enthusiastic, conservation-minded young leader to commit to an eight-month service term to help protect the Eastern Sierra by joining us as this year’s AmeriCorps Member and Education Coordinator. You can help us fill this important role by applying or forwarding this post to someone you think might be great for the job. The service term will start in February and goes through September.

Our new full-time team member will lead and collaborate primarily on education and outreach projects that inspire and engage our local community in conservation. These projects include certifying pollinator-friendly gardens, organizing field trips, teaching seminars and workshops, and organizing volunteer projects.

Our AmeriCorps Member/Education Coordinator will gain skills and technical training, a mentor with outstanding environmental leaders in our area, and receive an education award at the successful completion of service.

The Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps Partnership is implemented by the Sierra Nevada Alliance, a nonprofit conservation organization that has served as a voice for the Sierra since 1992. The partnership was founded in 2007, and every year since then ESLT has hosted talented SNAP members who have conducted education and outreach in our area, helping to inform and inspire our community.
